    Will scaling screw me up?

How much does scaling affect your ATAR? I would like to get a reasonably high ATAR (80+), but I'm worried that the subjects I chose are too weak.
The subjects I chose for next year are:

    Advanced English
    Society & Culture
    French Continuers
    Drama
    TVET Travel, Tourism & Events
    Legal Studies
    English Ext. 1
    Studies of Religion

If French doesn't run at my school (high probability) I will get Extension English and Religion instead to make 12 units, but I may drop them both in Year 12.

The only thing that will screw you up is if you do poorly in your subjects. There are no weak subjects, only weak students.

I agree, any combination of subjects will be able to get any atar, if you are interested in these subjects and are good at them you should choose them

you should be on 12 units (13 max)

it will be achievable to get an 80+ atar with those subjects
