Hello fellow 2019ers

Welcome to the 2019 section of the forums!

This thread is for general chit-chat of a somewhat "school-related" nature!

As always if you have questions pertaining to certain subjects, please make a post in the appropriate section, and you are much likely to get a better response.

How was everyone's first day back into year 12?

We just went through preliminary exams and an outline of what we're doing in term 4. Haven't got my marks for English and math though ;w; Will most likely start the HSC content tomorrow.

We start HSC content on Thursday, as the next three days consist of transitioning to year 12 and how to study etc etc.

I don't think I have ever found the "how to study" sessions helpful.

Just going to requote my post from the preliminary thread. I feel this is very important to remember especially considering there will be times where we feel down or demoralised during year 12!

I feel so happy.

Guys, if you ever feel hopeless or disheartened from your marks/ranks, don't give up!

My physics rank in semester 1: Bottom 10
Final ranking: Top 10 (rank #9)

I originally felt so discouraged after seeing my semester one ranking and felt tempted to drop. But after staying and putting extra effort, I climbed the rankings of my cohort~
It's definitely possible to improve as long as you work harder (you obviously have to put in the effort). But just know that there is hope to turn the tables around.

So never give up!!! We all got this ! :)

Does anyone know where to get textbooks for the new syllabus?
