From fitzpatrick:

ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral and FAE is a tangent at A. Angle DAE = 50

Find Angle BAF.

I've been trying, but can't seem to find a way...So far: tried constructing perpendicular to tangent, and using center of circle for more angles, as well as algebraic manipulation of cyclic quad angles...any ideas?

Perhaps you just labelled the vertices in the incorrect order :p

There was...but no, the diagram is fine...I bet this is something super obvious, and I'm going to feel like an utter berk for not picking it up.

I can do it given that those lines are parellel. I just thought that it only applied to part 2 but, and you had to prove it otherwise...
