simplified/unsimplified ans query (1 Viewer)

if the answer is eg 1/2 and i wrote 2/4 do i lose a mark?? i did this test and accidentally forgot about it...

Depends on the question, if it says simplify or fully simplify then you will probably lose a mark.

but if it's one of those coordinate geometry questions which just ask for an equation (and don't specifically say simplify) then use still get marks for the unsimplified/unfactorised equation

alright...also if they give you t=tan(x/2), can you write sinx= (whatever the answer) or do you have to prove it?
