Hey everyone, to all doing the MX1 exam, what do you think the exam will be like tomorrow due to the 4u exam being a bit weird in places

I think it might be ok considering a lot of people considered last year's exam hard

The difficulty shouldn't matter, should it?

I mean a harder test scales higher

yes but if its a really hard test, u're bound to lose confidence and momentum in the first couple of questions screwing you for the rest of the exam.

That's true, but u gotta realise many don't perform to the best if its excessively hard, and may completely crumble under the pressure( that's unfair, isn't it???), than they possibly could.

^This x 1000000.

My performance is 100% based on my confidence level and if I stumble on early questions (even though I will probably solve them later in the exam), I panic and that screws me for the entire exam.

Some people don't feel this at all, but some do and it really affects our performance.

Yea, i'd rather have extremely hard q 14, rather than difficult paper throughout. If i'm stumped on an early question have to skip or something, totalllly fucks me
