This 3-hour math study program (http://thuydo1997.wix.com/3hourstudy) (free of charge + still in demo version) presents theories in each of the 3 main strands of Mathemaics Extension 1 (functions, calculus, probability) in one single big picture. The aim is to help you understand how each formula is formed from scratch so that no matter what questions you are given, you can judge from the big context first and determine which formulas/way of thinking to apply.
Try it out, especially for those of us who know exactly how to follow from a given formula, but just struggle to choose the right formula at the beginning.
