Reference: 3 Unit Mathematics Book 2 by S. B. Jones and K. E. Couchman, Exercise 19.5, question 9e:

Show that the curve approaches the x-axis as x becomes large.

Should I be just subbing in large x numbers or is there some limit I should be using?

y' approaches 0 negatively as x approaches infinity. And since y does not intercept the x-axis in the positive domain, the curve therefore approaches the x-axis as x becomes large.

From memory, the Cambridge textbook actually addressed a special limit. So I consulted it to help you. But keep in mind that this limit, however, you do need to know:

Actually no, I just realised I didn't avoid the principle of the question with my response.
