Question 9 I have no idea where to start.
Question 10 i figured out how to get xcos0 but i dont know how to get ysin0.
These are from cambridge 3u year 11 and theres no answers for these two questions at the back.

Construct lines:

Let
$AP = PQ = QR = x$
(or any pronumeral of your choice)

Remember that
$\tan \angle BAR = \frac{BR}{AB}$

and that $AB, BR$ can both be written as sums of intervals.

This question becomes trickier if you don't construct $CE$.

Find $\angle QCE$, and note that $PQ = PE - QE$

You'll get $y \sin \theta$ by factorisation.
