    Question about Topics

Are there any topics in the preliminary course which are not relevant to the HSC course?

    Re: Question about Topics

For 2U and Ext 1 Mathematics, I don't think so. Pretty much all of topics you'll learn in HSC builds up or uses the concepts taught in Preliminary, except for maybe probability.

    Re: Question about Topics

Up to 30% of the Preliminary material in Mathematics can be tested in the HSC exam. So a pretty substantial chunk.
