Hey guys I came across this question the concept is basic but the numbers don’t add up when you get the solution. I’ve did many questions like these but never came across a Situation where both angles are the same. Hence why I need help with this one thank you guys. Also guys I have posted my solutions to a similar question just give guys a taste of how I would approach it. I did this question the same way and wouldn’t get the correct answer.

I don't get what the problem is? The tensions will just be equal which in fact makes the problem easier....

For part b with your expression obtained for T, just set T>=0 to obtain the critical max angle

looks like the correct way to approach it. you may have missed a negative or something or taken a vector the wrong way or possibly a mathematical error
