The door is still open. INSEARCH gives you a second chance to get into a degree of your choice at UTS.

INSEARCH offers one year diploma courses that lead into the second year of most degrees at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Australian Year 12 graduates who score below the UAI cut-off for UTS undergraduate courses in 2006 can choose to study at INSEARCH for a year and gain an alternative entry into the second year of a UTS degree program. Students who achieve the required average mark (WAM) at INSEARCH, are guaranteed a place at UTS.

INSEARCH is a Higher Education Provider and is therefore able to offer eligible students access to the Australian Government Loan Scheme FEE-HELP.

hey i was wondering if there is any other programs apart from insearch around at the moment that can get you into uni

Yes there's also a non-award scheme for macquarie university, it's rougly the same, you have to do about a few subjects, where these subjects won't be counted to your degree you intend to transfer to. But if performed well enough you can get into a course inside macq.

i was just wondering, when do we have to apply to INSEARCH by? and would we have to pay the fees ourselves? because im not quite sure on that.

DnG-StYLeR, there are several options for alternative entry to UTS. You can find them at

www.uts.edu.au/study/alternative.html

coFFeecrZy, the applications for Semester 1, 2007 close on the 12th of February. However, places in some INSEARCH degrees are limited, so the earlier you secure your place, the better.

As for the payment options, you can either choose to pay your fees up front or use the Australian Government loan scheme FEE-HELP. For more information please visit our website, www.insearch.edu.au.
