If I got these marks...

Hey guys,

Im just wondering what exmination marks i should be aiming for if i need at least a 83 UAI and have assessment marks of approx:

Ancient History: 91
English Advanced: 83
Legal Studies: 82
Physics: 75
Mathematics: 67
Ext History: 39/50

Im guessing ill need at least 3-4 band 5's.

Any help will be great!

Edit: Just one quick other thing, with my preferences, is it a smart thing to put a course with a higher UAI than the one before it? ie if i have B art with 83 UAI as third preference, and then B international studies with 83.10 UAI as fourth preference, is that pointless because if i dont get into a course with 83 UAI i definately wont get into one with 83.10?

No, put in order of preference not UAI, because the required UAI of a course can go down, and you're better off putting what you want first, rather than basing your preferences on UAI and then getting into the course you didn't really want to do.

those marks in the exam are enough to get you to an 83 uai.

also, place preferences in preferential order. the uai cutoffs are a guide, they aren't the be all and end all.
