alrite, can someone do a uai prediction based on these exam marks. THankyou. I need 99 UAI to get into the course i need to do.

adv English : 77/105
Physics: 87/100 (Independant paper)
Chemistry: 94/100 (NEAP)
Biology 96/100 (NEAP)
Maths 3unit 79/84 (Independant)
Maths 4 unit 85/120 (Western Regions)

Dont you think thats a little far fetched.. I mean that means if I get say 85 as my raw mark for Physics ill b close to 100 alligned mark ?!?! caus thats about the raw mark im aiming for and i thought that would give me mebbe high 80's - low 90's

A raw mark of 60 may not align equally with a raw mark of 80.

i.e. a 60 may align to 75. a 80 may only align to 87

It was attained via a FOI (Freedom of Information) application submitted to the board of studies.

There's also a $30 processing fee if you wish to request it.

What is the Total Weighted Mark???

Is Total Weighted Mark=Raw Mark=The mark you get for the exam you sit on the day??

but how is SDD scales better than Chemistry??

when you input 79 into SAM for both SDD and chemistry, 76.4 of Chemistry will be contributed to the UAI, whereas for SDD only 62.6 will be contributed??

I think the idea is that they scale better, however the software test was on the whole harder.

Aligned marks cannot be compared between subjects.

Those two marks of 79 mean different things and are not the same.

It could also work the opposite way too correct? For instance a raw mark of 70 may be aligned to 50 if you performed poorly against the majority of the canditature.

A raw mark of 70 could be aligned to 50, yes, but it wouldn't be because you performed poorly relative to the majority of the candidature.

Marks are aligned in accordance with course standards - not how anyone else has performed.
