I don't think anyone has done it for ages. They were refusing to do it and I think that's what that blue form that we sign, saying "BOS has the right to retain or destroy students HSC marks." Apparently that wouldn't hold up against FOI act though, as you can force someone to sign away their rights for freedom of information like that, particularly when half the people are under 18.

However, it is still a pain in the arse, and you will want legal advice.

You can always ask.

My understanding is that students are being given 'stock' answers denying their requests.

I maintain that if the matter were to ever be heard properly in a court or tribunal that the marks would be released. This hasn't happened yet.

One guy got his exams back, but not his raw marks. He uploaded his stuff onto the resources (2008)

u dont know, that information is old and its unreliable since it was only one year but it can give a general idea.
