If UAC uses different procedures to scale our Raw marks y do we get BOS marks

ok can someone explain, if the UAC scales our marks and that is wat is used in our UAI calculation, then what is the point of BOS marks, how do they reflect anything to do with our UAI

They don't reflect anything to do with your UAI.

The UAI is all about ranking students for entrance to university, but only 30% of HSC students actually proceed to tertiary study. The UAI is pretty much irrelevant to the other 70% of students.

HSC marks report performance in terms of set standards (described by the performance bands) and indicate what a typical student at that level knows and can do.

yep understood
so thats y im guessing all band 6's, as an aligned mark in certain subjects that dont scale well at all doesnt give/guarntee a 90+ UAI
