I've been doing MATH1031 (Maths for life sciences) this semester, but am wondering if I am able to take MATH1131 (1A) next semester. my interests have changed since the beginning of the year and I am considering changing degrees, however since I have taken 1031 I am not sure if I "have the assumed knowledge" for 1131.

From the MATH1131 website,
Exclusions: MATH1011, MATH1031, MATH1141, MATH1151, ECON1202, ECON2291.

You probably cannot take this course anymore unless you have special permission.

and how would i gain that permission? i feel like i've made a terrible mistake with my course choices this semester as I wasn't entirely sure of what I wanted to do.
