Probs a hard complex numbers, seems like q16 complex numbers is a trend in recent years iirc. And most likely an induction this year since they've barely had one recently
Post your predictions for what you may think will come up in this years MX2 exam, in particular, question 16
Also discuss any thoughts relating to the upcoming exam.
I predict that there will be a nasty conics question in question 16.

There might an integral and you have to prove something by induction or indexing(not sure what its called) similar to the last q in sydney grammar in 2016.

Hopefully it's one of those years with no harder probability Q in Q16
I feel like there's a cap on difficulty for topics like integration, not saying theyre easy, but how harder can they get? maybe that's just me not seeing enough hard integration Qs:P
But yeah my money's on a)complex numbers b)circle geo and c)induction
Probs an integration/binomial 'question thing' where you see multiple parts etc.

Conics last question would be disappointing

Start of prelim
"What is circle geometry and why do I need to put up with this cancer"
By the end of HSC
"FUCK YES CIRCLE GEOMETRY"

I really hope there are qs on proving some interesting results, like the Basel problem from 2010
Circle geo is fine too, but yeah probability = gg

Hopefully we get a question on proving pi or e being irrational those questions tend to be a lot of fun

I really liked the probability one in the HSC paper (2008?), where it involved n number of balls and you had to choose.
