When you are given a sketch question with no previous parts as to finding any intercepts, stationary points or asymptotes and neither do they tell you to use addition or multiplication of ordinates, just sketch. How do we approach this, do I show the general shape of the graph , intercepts and asymptotes or do I include stationary points and poi when they don’t say anything. Or should I just use what I see fit. I understand that knowing how many marks it is will give you an idea but what do I need to show? I want to maximize my time during the HSC so I hope this question isn’t too vague.
