is doing drills of problem sets better than practising an entire exam or the other way around? what do you do?

any tips on how you study and revise math?

Depends... if you are truly revising, then try going through as many questions as possible, try not to use pen and paper for the easier ones..

If you are still catching up then you better do the exercises one by one

I suggest to just keep reading your notes over and over again till they get stuck in your head.

Do as many questions as you are able to and as many alternate textbooks/sources as you can.
