I'm moving about 7 hours to live on campus, just wondering every1 elses status. Also does anyone know when we heard about our residential applications?

I'm travelling... hm I'm not sure actually. I think it's about 9 hours.
I'm from Sydney.

I've been wondering that too, when do we hear whether our residential applications were successful or not?

i dunno when we get our campus info, but i got a letter today sayin that uac have accepted me, and it said ill get residential info soon

its 7 hours from syd if you stick to major roads

Make sure you go through glouster, its the buckets way/thunderbolts way, i thinks its about an hour quicker than the scone/ musclebrook/tamworth way.

hehehe all us city people can be nigels together. One thing im gonna het about moving is all my friends, although it is only $200 to fly from Syd to Armidale

Yeah, come up the Bucketts way and you will go past my place which is 50 km south of Gloucester, it is a much nicer drive.

how much is it for the train. no way could i last more than 2 hours on a bus so a train is sounding good, unless i decide to drive, but thats prob just as expensive then you have to pay for parking etc....... to much to think about and plan

I'm not sure how much it costs to go by train... but it'd have to be cheaper than by bus or plane!
I know it's $75 for a return ticket to Port Macquarie... so probably something similar, maybe a little more...

Yes - turn them off. I think your parents should support you - it shows you're prepared to make a sacrifice in order to get ahead - it's called maturity.

Oh yeah and also, if this guy will want me, I'll be living about 2KM from the uni ( heard too many bad things about living on campus, and 2KM is a good distance )
