I still can't decide whether I want to go, it'd be hard leaving everyone behind(Canberra is a fair distance from me), but the prospects of an ANU law degree are mightily tempting.

you're so...
you know what, I give up.
I'm pretty sure I won't get 99, and I have my mind set on law, so yes....
with B Arts Int Rel as a second option I should get in for sure...if I get an UAI under 80 I will repeat. eeek, what a scary thought.

rest assured, you're not "settling for less" because you go to anu not usyd, unsw and the likes... mind you only the opinion of the "lowly" arts student (who goes to anu no less)

Failiing UAI if you get under 95? That sounds awfully elitist to me.

Would Arts/Law be the best option for a career in politics? Or would Commerce/Law grads be equally sought after?

Arts/Law looks better for me as its bludgier!:p

I want to work for CCTV 9, they sure need people.
Though then I have to acquire an American or Brit accent. damn that.
Qualifications will be OK-ish (ANU) - though one of the anchors came from Berkley. And besides I'm not really all that cut out to be an anchor. So yeah, lowly diplomatic station, here I come! ;p

i'm there. even if i don't get the 95 for arts/law (fingers crossed the cut off doesn't go up) i'll do arts (int. relations) and try to transfer. not getting 95 would be dissappointing, but certainly not failing the hsc in my terms anyway.
