2005 cut-offs, up or down? (1 Viewer)

I have a bad feeling that UAI cut-offs @ ANU are gonna go up something shocking, for a few reasons.

1. ANU hasnt put up fees
2. I read more people are looking to go away to Uni
3. ANU has guaranteed accomodation
4. I get the feeling ANU is finally getting some recognition and is the "flavour of the month"

This suggests to me more apllicants=higher cut-off.

Wat do you guys think?

i think theyll go up. some by lots such as sciences, law, communications, business and commercy stuff. others will go up because of the uni too but these courses i meantioned aree going up all over the place

The woman at the Advisory day said it would be very unlikely for the law UAI to rise and if it rose more than 1 UAI you'd be very unlucky.

I'm still contacting the law faculty for advice though.

Nah i'm 100% certain ANU's gunna go up... it's the favourite university of alot of people at the moment.

True.. but if i was u i wouldn't worry, you're gunna make it into law.. i can't imagine the cutoff for law at anu going up that much.

I agree, next year.. lets convince the 05's that uws law is the way to go and see how much we can raise the cutoff.

Personally, I think we never should have raised the issue of giving ANU its own thread...if we left it in the dark obscure shadows of 'Other Unis' we wouldn't be in the god-awful mess.

on law @ ANU is anyone sending a letter to the faculty, just in case (u know how they accept a few people based on dedication blah blah)
