For the bachelor of psychology at Newcastle uni which I am likely to go to, advanced maths is assumed knowledge and I am doing it in my HSC 2015.
I am doing 12 units and am expecting my advanced math mark not to count towards my atar. I am averaging in preliminary for maths at 60% and all other subjects 80% and above.
My question is.
Do I have to pass advanced maths to get into the bachelor of psychology? Also how much of advanced maths is really in psychology at uni?
I have emailed the uni about it, Newcastle was not helpful and sent me a link to the bachelor of psychology. Macquarie is also one I am looking at and maths is not assumed or reccomended.
Thank you
