Hey can some one tell me if tehres a diff between the one gene, one protein and one gene , one enzyme hypothesis because my question in an assessment says outline the evidence that lead to beadle and tatums one gene, one protein hypothsesis but whenever i research i can only find one gene, one ezyme and one gene, one polypeptide,

21 Feb 2009, 8:21 PM | Re: beadle and tatum considering that an enzyme is a protein, it was called one gene one protein, but it changed to polypeptide because its a more correct term as some proteins may be composed of one or more polypeptides..htats why it changed to polypeptides, its a more accurate unit i guess?
