hey there. I'm not sure if i can help you, but i'll give it ago since we just finishied doing fossils. There are lots of different scientific methods out there to help determine the evidence. Firstly, there is radio or carbon dating which is tested on fossils (and presumeably sand dunes) and cave sediments. Different kinds of vegetation can be aged and found out by testing the rocks or soil in the different layers that you can get. Hope i could help. | |
