ok now i got ur attention
at the end of telophase 1 of Meiosis, or first cell division, does it result in two haploid daughter cells or two diploid daughter cells? Because the end result of overall meiosis is 4 haploids..

so what is it? 2 haploid cells or 2 diploid cells at the end of telophase 1?

If it's haploid, then the chromatids have to replicate don't they?

Re: Meiosis omgogmgogmgig

2 daughter cells with each daughter only containing one chromosome. So it's haploid.

HSCguide: Process information from secondary sources to construct a model that demonstrates meiosis and the processes of crossing over, segregation of chromosomes and the production of haploid gametes
