Re: 8 marker biology

It was on how genetics and environment effect the phenotype.

Re: 8 marker biology

see with this question i didnt acualy finish it.

what do u think i can get /8

i gave examples of hydranger flower colour being affeted by soil ph
pea plant growth being affected by soil nutriends
and radiation changing geneexpression with the example of beadle and tatum

Bunzhou is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: 8 marker biology

It depends on how well your answer is, if you mentioned all those and filled up the lines you should be getting a decent mark. I did hydrangeas and growth as well. I also did mendel and just general comments on environment such as sun affecting our skin, etc.

I'd say a decent mark 6-8?

Re: 8 marker biology

Did anyone talk about GENETICS? or just focused on environment?

I related genetics with mendel and artificial pollination created different phenotypes, short, long, round, wrinkled, etc..

Re: 8 marker biology

i hope so but i think we were also meant to mention gene expression and how genes are expressed so id say a mark of 4

Re: 8 marker biology

i just focused on genotye expression
i didnt think that we had to mention how it is expressed just just y it is expressed differently

Re: 8 marker biology

twin thing wont get u any marks

segregation and fertalisationim not sure becuase i think it had to be explicitly environmental effects on gene expression
