Not really, but it would make learning HSC Biology a ~tiny~ bit harder.

all i'm saying is listen in class when they go through the plant thing (xylem, phloem etc etc)
I never listened in class in year 11, and i'm not screwed now, but you'll certainly be doing yourself a favour with the plants.

There's absolutely no prelim bio in hsc bio (unless theres a dot point on it such as diffusion and xylem)
Its useful to know the prelim shit because it will make your understanding a little bit easier however you don't need to know it for year 12
I Didn't listen at all last year, was ranked ~30th, I failed like every exam (bio was the subject I was going to drop). However this year, I am coming 2nd and if you gave me a prelim exam I would probably fail it.
