Hello!

I'm in the process of doing my herbarium assignment and I'm not sure how to identify the flowers I have collected. I've asked everyone I know and they can't think of any names. How do I go about identifying these flowers correctly?

Thankyou :)

alter the dimensions using paint/Photoshop so the size in smaller, then upload them in separate posts

or you could try the second option i said before ;)

ok you uploaded the last one twice.. but:

1. pretty sure thats a daisy
2. orchid
3. that looks a tiny bit like lavender (it is either a variation of traditional lavender or something very similar- definitely related to it so look that up)

I don't think number 2 is an orchid. I can't find anything like it anywhere on the internet. Any other guesses as to what 2 is?

Pretty sure it's an Iris, specifically Iris douglasiana - they come in varying shades.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think number 4 might be taraxacum.

Taraxacum are usually those little yellow flowers that people say will make you wet the bed. I just seen some yellow ones in my school's oval and done a Google image search and there are a few white ones.

It looks similar to me, but the one in your photo looks a bit wilted.

+ its the same as the first one

actually the 3rd does look like a young heliotrope bud
