I'm doing an assignment for Bio right now and I'm sooo stuck.

I need distinguishing characteristics of the following fossils:
Glossopteris
Gangamopteris
Diprotodon

I also need to describing similarities and differences between current and extinct native Australian life forms (not platypus)

I did the Glossopteris myself, here are some links from my reference list:
http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/seedplants/pteridosperms/glossopterids.html
https://www.academia.edu/1275722/Glossopteris_insights_into_the_architecture_and_relationships_of_an_iconic_Permian_Gondwanan_plant

I think I wrote that they were deciduous and reproduced with seeds but I haven't found a source that stated if they were monoecious or dioecious (hermaphrodites or only one gendered organ per plant). My assignment is different to yours in that I was only doing some secondary info to backup my first-hand stuff on observing a fossil, so I don't have that much detail.

As for similarities and differences of current and extinct life forms, have you taken a look at Australian megafauna?
