Heres an example of a profile of a chemist that I did for this dotpoint:

Name: Robert Boison (not his real name)

Company: Qenos

Role: Industrial Chemist

1. Monitor quality of ethylene (amount and nature of impurities) to ensure they meet standards necessary to form quality polyethene
2. Monitor wastes (effluent discharge) produced to meet environmental standards
3. Collaborates with process engineers at cracking furnace to solve on-site problems and improve overall efficiency of processes
4. Callibrate instruments regularly, perform analysis to ensure results are reliable, train shift staff, solves other on-site problems

Chemical principle used for this job: Gas liquid Chromatography. This basically is used to find the nature of stationary phase and the nature of components of the sample.
