Would memorising the entire periodic table, common ions and reactivity series help? or is it just a waste of time...

knw yur cmmon ions thugh: all the simple nes,a s well as carbnate, sulphate, phosphate, ammonium, etc..

I was told to learn the polyatomic ions in year 10. ahaha. So know those. :)

Don't learn the reactivity series, but rather learn the trends apparent on the periodic table. Understand how and why they are like that and you won't ever forget them. Trust me. ;)

I would recommend memorizing your solubility rules.
