Hello
I have a practical exam tomorrow, ok, were gonna have 3 unknown samples of water, we gotta decide if sample a is sewerage, bore water, salt water, creek water etc.

Of course its not gonna be that easy ( its all de ionised water with ions added in by the school, so its not going to actually be sewearag)

Now, we can only figure out the water types by testing for specific ions.

Tell me if im right with the following

Sewearage- Test for phosphates ( sewearage should be high in phosphates), it can also be water near industrial factories or farms right?
Sea Water- Test for CL- ions.
Brackish water- not sure please help
Bore water - not ure please help
Creek water ( near limestone rocks)- Should be hard right? so should have alot of Ca2+ ions, so test for hardness
Tap water- not sure.

Also what would the pH of the above types of water be?
