Q) Write the chemical formula of the following:

Been a while since I done this.

n=m/M
n[carbon]=93.7/12.01=7.8
n[hydrogen]=6.3/1=6.3

7.8/6.3=26/21

therefore C26H21

As kaz1 suggested but use 1.008 for H and you get a ratio which is 1.248:1 and this may be rounded to 1.25:1 ultimately giving you a ratio of 5:4 ie C5H4.
