some of the problems with hard water is that it leads to the formation of scales.

wtf is a scale? and how exactly does it affect a person's health?

been searching all over the net for it and couldnt find a proper answer.

the scale builds up on electronic devices (such as a kettle) once the water boils in the kettle, the scale (CaCO3) ppt forms and ruins it.
