there are so many radioisotopes to choose for medical and industrial purpose.and i just want to know what are 2 easiest to remember and simply cannot go wrong in the test.

any ideas?

Technetium-99m is used in both. In medical used as a tracer (ie attaches to organic compounds and flows through the body, collects in tumours etc)

In industry used to trace water movements eg swerage.

really??? oh well.. i used Na 24 for swerage/pipe leaks...

beta - decay into Mg24 and the measurement of b radiation intensity can be indicative of where th leakage is...
