So i'm confused with the terminology of how a thing is lying to the right or left favoring products or reactants terminology. For example the equilibrium lies to the right and favors products or equilibrium lies to the left and favors reactants.

Can someone please explain what these terms mean (favouring products and reactants) and/or provide an equation example.
Thanks

Favouring products or reactants, just means that at equilibrium there is more of one.

The ratio between the products and reactants is given by something called the equilibrium constant which if it has a high value will mean there are more products at equilibrium and if its a small value means that there is more reactants at equilibrium.
