how do radioisotopes accumulate in organs?
i want to know so that i can be ahead of my other classmates....
can someone help?

Well, the radioisotope is injected into the blood stream, and when this travels through different organs e.g. the liver, heart etc. the radioisotope gets collected there. Then it can be detected by an image which measures the amount of radiation emitted.
I learnt this today...ha, ha, how convenient.
