Hi I have question an object has an excess of 8.0x10^17 calculate the charge on it?
Does anyone know how to do this question

I assume you mean excess of electrons. Multiply the charge of one electron (1.602x10^-19) by the amount of excess electrons

I don't think so but it's just Q=nq (where n= number of the particles, q=charge of particles and Q=total charge on object)
