    Physics Q- Space

    An 80kg astronaut standing on a set of weight scales experiences a force of 5g. What do the scales read??

    It reads 5 kg since scales basically show the force divided by 9.8.

    EDIT: idk about this answer since it was a while ago but I think the direction of the force matters...

    Incorrect answer...but hopefully you have found that out by now?

    the correct answer is that the scales will read 400 kg.
