I remember in year 8 seeing year 11s going on the UK's Myspace to get on. Tumblr hasn't been blocked at my school, but Facebook has. Sometimes YouTube is blocked even on teacher's laptops, but you CAN eventually go on it. So far, I don't know if you can access this on my school's internet (I'll check it tomorrow when I have my free period). I go to a private school.

Edit: In school in my free, BoS is not blocked. =]
