Last year I purchased a Lamy safari from Officeworks, it came with a medium nib and I love it. However, it drinks ink buy the bottle and after refilling a carterage only lasts two days. In the past 2 months its really started using more ink, but I think its also I'm doning more writing. A seperate issue is my writing size has increased (most likely just compensating for the thicker lines). If i buy another lamy safari should I get a fine nib or extra fine. I've read extra fine is best for maths equasions (and i do 4u), but I will mostt likely also write essays etc with the same pen/nib. Which one should I get? Also is the al-star worth the extra cash or should I stick to the safari?
