I absolutely can not believe this, while watch CNN news, I saw ROC flag at the National Association of Attorneys General, amongst other American state flags. Seriously WTF is ROC flag doing amongst American states flag? Fuck you America, Taiwan is not one of your state, it's part of China you warmongers.

If Taiwan is part of China please explain why we have our own military, currency, government? Actually there is a strong legal argument as per the terms of the San Francisco treaty that the US government is the "custodian" of the territory of the US as it was ceded by the Japanese Empire.

edit: pretty much every single taiwanese presidents since the 90s have been US educated.

Because Taiwan is better than China and not a communist nation? Oh and the US loves sending us brand new nuke codes and parking their aircraft carriers on our lovely Island.

The Taiwanese people don't want to be part of China, why ya'll can't leave us alone and let the right to self determination fullfil.

you think most Taiwanese want to be part of china? why on earth would they?
Do you have any data on the public sentiments of the Taiwanese people? If not, you are not in any position to comment on what Taiwanese people want.

All I know is that pan-blue has more seats than pan-green in the ROC parliament, and since ROC is a democracy, this reflect that majority of the public still want reunification with mainland China.

So yeah...

KMT lost 9 of the 11 mayoral seats in Taiwan. Just because the KMT win's the legislative does not represent people want to unify. That's like saying people vote liberals are hardcore monarchists. KMT has been known to rig elections. 2012 was the best example, election period was right before chinese new year so most student's and blue collar guys couldn't go home (household registration issue) and vote. KMT are full of fucking traitors that keep stooging up arms deals to block DPP legislation. Current pres was a fucking draft dodger as well.

Asked about their position on cross-strait relations, 66 percent of respondents supported the “status quo,” 24 percent wanted independence and 7 percent supported unification with China, according to the survey conducted by cable news channel TVBS between Thursday last week and Monday.
However, the poll found that most respondents favored independence over unification if they were asked to choose between just those two options, with 71 percent supporting independence and only 18 percent supporting unification with China.
With regards to identity, 78 percent of those polled identified themselves as Taiwanese, while 13 percent saw themselves as Chinese.

The people who want to unify are dying off. People see their own national identity. The only reason people support the status quo is for fear of a Chinese invasion.

Btw are you butthurt that Taiwanese people get easier visa free access to more access than Chinese citizens?

Er no... because I have an Australian passport which beats ROC passport.
Not really. Taiwanese passports are pretty convenient for going to Europe and USA as well. And it's super cheap entering China on a "compatriot" pass.

That's because China treat you Taiwanese people as little teenagers whose having identity issues at the moment, and welcome you home when you want to, that's what responsible adults do. So grow up or go suck a dick, after all you taiwainese people are still just Han Chinese with gay Mandarin accent.

So how would someone who is born in taiwan, lived there their entire lives and had family that have never set foot in China for more than a hundred years being 'welcomed' home? You do realize China has these "rules" which are rarely enforced by Hong Kong or Macau (I entered Macau on a Taiwanese passport, not compatriot pass) to try and 'legitimize' their claim that Taiwan is not a sovereign when in fact the nation completely functions as a sovereign nation.

If Taiwan wants to be part of China so much, please explain why Taiwan still has a conscription system and a military that is COMPLETELY focused on defending an island in event of a Chinese invasion.

That's because majority 98% of your motherfuckers are Chinese immigrants or descends of Chinese immigrants from mainland China.

Good, so people like you would finally get the idea that Taiwan is just a province of China. Even the ROC admits that, there is only one China and Taiwan is a province of ROC. I mean look at the current official map of ROC, it's bigger than PRC's map.

If Taiwan wants to be part of China so much, please explain why Taiwan still has a conscription system and a military that is COMPLETELY focused on defending an island in event of a Chinese invasion.
Well kids sometimes get mad at their parents and trying to arm themselves, you know how teenagers are.

That just shows you don't know how a democracy works. For example, in Australia, the Coalition won 60% of seats but that only reflects 53% of the voting population. Each seat does not reflect an equal number of voters. You can even have a great majority of seats but not even have more than 50% of voters voting for your party.

After the surrender of Japan at the end of World War II, Soviet forces turned over their captured Japanese weapons to the CPC and allowed the CPC to take control of territory in Manchuria, in which the Soviet Union was allowed to do so by the consent of the United States and the United Kingdom to intervene and influence the outcome of Chinese Civil War (especially in the decisive battles in Northeast China) at the expense of the Republic of China government by the result of Yalta Conference until the start of Cold War across the Taiwan Strait (see United Nations General Assembly Resolution 505).
