Could someone please give me a correct definition of what labour market policies are? I know what they are, but wanted a concise meaning for my introduction

Lol. Labour Market policies must be the worst taught section in the Economics syllabus.

My definition goes something like : regulative policies that governs the interaction between supply and demand of labour.

I just looked it up today :D. It was on a website, I will try to find the source soon.

Yeh it would be microeconomic, because it targets the supply side in achieving greater levels of efficiency and productivity in the labour force.

eh, definitions are finnicky urgh.
the one from the dixon textbook is this:
'Microeconomic policies that are aimed at influencing the operation and outcomes in the labour market, including industrial relations policies that regulate the process of wage determination as well as training, education and job-placement programs to assist the unemployed.'
the bold bit is the only thing you really need though, in my opinion.
