Today, 3:19 AM ![]() | Help with Vet Science You can hide this advertisement by registering. Hey,i want to do vet science next year.... but i dont think i will get the required atar.. so im thinking of maybe doing a bach of science and major in biology (animal)... how hard is it to get into vet science after 1 year? i really want to do it and i am willing to wait for my chance.. but wat is the best alternative way? other than getting the straight atar (which im thinking is gonna be too hard for me)... also what about a course 'animal and veterinary bioscience' as i see the atar for that is like 85... or dont they care what course you do, do they just go off your marks and ranks? |

Today, 9:55 AM ![]() | Re: Help with Vet Science Hey I'm in exactly the same position as you, i would kill to study vet science at sydney but there is no way i will get 99 or whatever ridiculously high mark you need. From my understanding you need to do a year of anything and get a distinction to a high distinction average. They have no idea what course you did when they look at your results so i guess the most important thing is to do something you are good at. I also think it is important to have had experience in the field as well as do extremely well in the STAT test. Good luck |
