Question Adv. Science vs Adv Science(mathematics)

I know the ATAR cut-off for mathematics is like 99.10 and for science it's just over 95 and the intake is 20 and 120 respectively. so any one doing either one of them? what's the difference?

Makes no difference. Just all marketing ploys in the end to attract the best students.

so there's no difference except for the name of your degree and your cohort?

How about honours and stuff?

Re: Adv. Science vs Adv Science(mathematics)

Yes. You can pick adv subjects even if you are in a normal BSc. If you want to do maths, then prob best to pick adv maths if you can. Better ops like ssp, tsp etc. And maths ppl are tight on marks for honours (not that im considering it for maths/stats).

You need to do the advanced subjects to get into honours, unless you have a HD average in normal and you catch up on all the adv stuff you missed.
