Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here knows about the University of Sydney's Engineering (Space) degrees, such as:
http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-engineering-honours-aeronautical-space
http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-engineering-honours-mechanical-space
http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-engineering-honours-mechatronic-space

Will these degrees limit my employability towards jobs that aren't necessarily space related? On the flip side, will it increase my employability in a space related field?

Any information/opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

it will increase job employability in a space related field but there is little demand in australia for graduates with that degree.

I have dual citizenship in USA and am thinking of moving over there after my degree. However, will the space portion of the degree detract from employers outside the space industry?

Nope, the space subjects (1 subject a year for 3 years) will not affect your employability in other industries. But wow if you have dual citizenship with USA, it would definitely be a very, very good degree to do.
