is it officially majority verdicts in NSW now? or is it still unanimous for the jury?
please show where I can find evidence of this.

There is new majority verdict legislation (sorry dunno its name) but a case you could use for this would be the R v King 2006 case which was one of the first to implement it. The jury has to be in deliberation for over 8 hours before the majority verdict laws can be used and it only allows a 11-1 verdict (basically to eliminate rogue jurors).

How impeccably late of me. Never fear, this might be useful for next year. I love rhyming.

NSW has implemented majority verdicts now, i.e. 11-1. I believe it came as a result of R v Burrell rather than R v King (were they talking about the foetus one out of curiousity?) which any other curious minds might want to look into.
