Hello,
First up, I don't study Legal, so don't be too harsh on this clueless newbie.

Okie... About Copyright (*Ducks behind chair to avoid thrown fruit*), can one patent the 'look-and-feel' of a product? I know in the _USA_ that one can't (Lotus vs Borland), but I don't know about Australia.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Robbo

Um, I don't know if us barristers divulge our information to the meek without adequate compensation.

In your case, I didn't do the elective regarding copyright (if there is such an elective), so to be honest I have no clue.

intellectual property

i don't think this is part of the course, at least, i haven't studied it, but there is a new area emerging in corporate law called intellectual property - it deals with a person's claim to an idea which is theirs but which they haven't copywrited (is that a word)?. that's about all i know, but you could look into it more...:apig:
