Hi o/
Im just wondering if the recent bill passed to allow same sex relations/relations (In Australia) is an example of law reform?
Currently I can't derive if it is or not because I havent been able to find the case no. or case title etc. I'll appreciate it alot if you could answer this.

Thankyou in advance!

Yes it's an example of law reform. Law reform doesn't necessarily have to be done via the law reform commissions. The term just means that the law is to be changed for some reason - usually from the perspective that social change is required. The Marriage Act was amended to allow for same-sex marriage (the full amended Act is the Marriage Amendment (Definition and Religious Freedoms) Act 2017).
